The VERTICALIA fair has been designed to provide visitors with a “snapshot” of the very latest applications and the ongoing experimentation in the world of indoor and outdoor vertical wall modules.
VERTICALIA offers a panorama of the different experiences and production types that have accompanied the spread of new solutions and innovative products. It illustrates a vast range of materials, colours and technology for the architecture of tomorrow.
Walls: the reassuring embrace of the material that surrounds our living space. Naturalness and technology blend to form a maze of materials that produce perimeters of wood, glass, metal, ceramic and laminate that are then decorated with paint, paper and fabric or transformed into new shapes using plastic.
Walls thus become “technology and object recipients”, creating emotion by changing colour, separating environments until they are hidden away (sometimes using cutting-edge automation), communicating via the brilliance of millions of pixels, and abandoning each other to make way for uniquely designed openings.
An exclusive display of aesthetic-architectural dynamism that illustrates the vigour of contemporary design, producing solutions that make our world one vast global village.
A project designed to aid Chinese architects and designers working together with Europeans and so meet the challenge of making evermore complex buildings.
In this immense scenario V E R T I C A L I A aims at offering ideas, analysing and stimulating discussion and debate.
